FAQs
This is an ad revenue sharing site.
How does this work?
What we have done is setup a system so the ad revenue can be shared between all active authors of this site.
This site displays advertisements when viewing. We use Google AdSense to automatically serve relevant ads for the content on the page. Google pays AdSense publishers on a per click basis as well as per impression.
If a author has an AdSense account, they have the ability to credit their account with the ads served on articles/blogs they submited.
Why are you doing this?
A articles/blogs site is nothing without the authors. So I figure why not let the users make a little money on articles/blogs they submit.
What are the restrictions?
1) You must have an AdSense account through Google.
2) You must have at least submit 1 articles/blogs within the site to participate (once you do that, the ads displayed from that point forward are retroactively applied to all the articles/blogs/author's profiles you submited).
3) Currently your AdSense client ID will be used 100% (for few months, after that we may reduce the % ) of the time when the articles/blogs/author's profiles you submited are viewed.
Is this allowed by Google?
Yes as DP (Digital Point ) www.forums.digitalpoint.com running, and there are a lot of other sites running with Google AdSense revenue sharing option.
How do I set it up?
While registering as an author there is option to put AdSense client ID, or after registering and login click on my account and put your AdSense client ID.
I'm worried about you having my AdSense Client ID.
The only info we need for it is info that is publicly available if you look at the source of any page that has your AdSense ads.
If you are still worried about it then the best thing to do is not participate.
How long will you be doing this?
While I can't guarantee it will run forever, however there are no plans to stop it at any point. But we do retain the right to halt the program or make adjustments to it as necessary if it's not working out in it's current form for whatever reason.
Can I click on my own submited articles/blogs/profiles pages Ads?
No, you can not click on the Ads showing on your submited articles/blogs/profiles, as its may contains your AdSense client ID, and clicking on own ads are against Google AdSense Terms and Conditions.
How can I increase my Earnings ?
After submitting your Articles / Blogs and its approval just open your Article / Blog URL and at the bottom there is option "Spread the Word" and there is listing some famous Social Bookmarking sites, so submit your Article / Blog to these sites. In this way good traffic will come directly to your submited Articles / Blogs and so increase your earnings / traffic to your site.
